Our new home

We have found a home! We moved in on Dec. 10th, its an apartment with a loft on the greenbelt in South-East Boise. This spot gives us lots of options for walking the puppy, we love it here. Once I get the house put together Ill take pics.
Welcome and come visit!

PUPPY Photos are here!

This is our new addition to our family! We named her after our favorite beach in Seattle, Alki
(but we pronounce it as Alkee) We have always wanted a dog, but didn't know it would come this soon, and we are so happy it did. While living in Pocatello we went to play some frisbee golf in Idaho Falls, and there was this nice lady with CUTE puppies. We could not stop playing with them and adoring them, she mentioned they were for sale and only for 150! Well we went on with our day and then our week and we could not stop thinking of her, the sellers ended up calling us to let us know that there was only one left and that someone was coming the next day to look at her and if we wanted her we would have first choice. So we decided to take a trip and go find out if we wanted her. After spending almost 2 hours with that cute face sitting on the lawn of a restaurant parking lot, we decided to give it a try. It now has been just over 6 months later and we could not be happier with our decision! She is such a playful sweetheart, and not to mention the exercise we get with her is a plus. We needed much motivation for that and she helps, she needs the walks!
WE LOVE HER!
So here are a few pictures from 2 months (when we got her) to 6 1/2 months.

See, how could you resist this face.

Alki loves camping, here she is sleeping by the fire and then playing in the dirt

(almost 4 months)

Here we are at Bear lake playing! We went on labor day with Paul and Rene, it was a blast!

Loving the wind in her hair ;)

In September we moved back to Boise! Here is Cullen and Alki, we are on the way to enjoy the park

Hello, Im still here!

Sorry its been a while, so many things have been happening! We got a puppy on May 31, 2009! Her name is Alki, we named her after one of our favorite places  (Alki beach in Seattle) She is a beautiful Malamute, and we are so excited for snow to come around to play with her. We enjoy having a puppy/daughter that we take on walks and take to the park. We have also been trainning her, which has been really fun. I will post some pictures soon!
Also we have moved back to the Boise area!!! Brandon decided in September to move back, so he is now working at the Nampa, ID Costco location. It is really nice to be back with family and friends again, although we did make some good friends in Pocatello that we are missing now. I am working at a testing center, working as an administrator and working for the BSU games as security/usher. They are both very different jobs, and I really am enjoying them. I started working for Pearson Vue (testing center) in Pocatello, and they were able to transfer me to Boise. I am also helping an Interior Designer a few days a month at her studio, hopefully this will help me gain the knowledge and expirence to start my own buisness. I am looking to help people with design and organization, you can see some of my rooms at http://www.ngeniusdesign.blogspot.com/  !
I am very creative and like to make things, and can help on ANY budget!
Now that we are back in Boise, we are at my parents for the mean time. It has been fun to spend more time with them and Brandons family. We did just find an apartment, and we are really excited about it! We move in on Dec. 10th, and its on the Boise river which will be fun to walk the dog on the green belt!
Ill be posting pictures soon!
Love,
Noel :)

Yellowstone

Yellowstone and Bear World Trip
5/16-5/19/09
We went with Mom (Rene) and Paul, also for 2 days Uncle Rod and cusion Justin joined us! I have never been to Yellowstone before and I had such a great time, I miss it already. On our way we stoped at Bear World which is near Rexburg, ID. It started as a refuge for Bears, now you can see the bears in their environment by driving through it! They romed around as you drive It was really neat, the best part was seeing the babies!
Although they were fenced offthey were soooooo cute and the best part, if only they stayed that small, right.

Yellowstone
Near the west entrance, this was our first encounter of Bison and baby bison! (sertinaly not our only encounter)

There's a blue bird on my shoulder........

Brandon and I at Gibbon Falls on day 2

This is Norris Geyser Basin, it stinks!!!

Upper Yellowstone Waterfall

The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone

Roaring Spring: the water is not what makes this bubbles it is acutally just gas bubbles, the water is only about 180 degrees vs up to 2,000

West Thumb Geyer Basin
(next 4 pictures)
This was really neat because it was situated right on the lake
Fishing hole geyser. There is a myth that you can catch a fish and put it in the hole and it will cook it while its still on the hook.
The Abyss

Black Geyer Pool
Old Faithful
We got to see it get to 70 ft.
While taking pictures of Old Faithful, I quickly ran a little bit to get a good picture. I felt something hit my foot, I felt possibly I got a sliver from the boardwalk. I looked down and this is what i saw. I ended up having to cut it out thankfuly mom (Rene) had a pocket knife. Like my mom (Gayle) says, "There is never a dull moment with Noel around"
I was wondering why all the trees had bare spots on them, it was neat to see a Bison demonstrate why. They like to rub against them.
Near the waterfall heading towards Mammoth

Hey look at that rack! We saw only 2 elk with antlers, out of a couple hundred total
This was our 2nd bear encounter, this was about 20 miles before Lamar Valley
Antelope in Lamar Valley, he's a cute one! :)
This was our 4th bear encounter, our 2nd Grizzley. He was about 150 feet away, it was really neat. This was probally my favorite thing about the trip.
More bison near the west entrance

Bison and their brand new babies, they're so cute!
Where's mountian goat?
Good bye Yellowstone :( see you again soon, I hope. Seeing the Geysers and such was really neat, unlike anything else. But our favorite part was seeing all of the wildlife,
it was really neat to experience.

This is Mesa Falls
It was really beautiful, like an oasis
My Favorite Trees, aspens
We would like to thank you mom for this experience, it was a memory of a lifetime! I took my Rebel camera also and will be developing that soon, so hopefully I'll have some good pics from that camera to post!
